FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

WHAT DO YOU DO FOR THE BUGS IN FLORIDA?

Southern Streams Ranch fogs for mosquitos before the event and uses Tiki torches with citronella during the event to keep the buggers at bay. We also provide personal insect repellent by the restrooms at the barn.

WHAT IF I NEED TO ADD ADDITIONAL PEOPLE TO MY GUEST LIST?

We understand that plans change as the months progress. Due to the scalable costs of operating a wedding with an increased guest count, Southern Streams Ranch charges for each additional guest at your event. The packages differ, so please inquire on pricing regarding additional guests for your package.

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT UPON ARRIVAL?

Please note that we are a working miniature horse farm. Our parking lot is a pasture field. There is a paved walkway to the ceremony site, and additional concrete and mulch there for safe walking. We border a nature preserve, and have all the animals and insects that come with that. Please be aware that we have snakes, alligators, mosquitos, armadillos, and more that live in the area.

WHERE DO I PARK?

There are three gates and entrances associated with Southern Streams Ranch. Please park in Gate A if you are a patron. There is no parking allowed on the street. The drop off location for guests is to the rear of the parking lot at Gate A. Please do not enter through Gate B or Gate C.

WHAT ABOUT OVERNIGHT ACCOMMODATIONS?

HOW CLOSELY IS EVERYTHING LOCATED AT THE RANCH?

We have partnered with "AirBnB's" and major hotels in the area to complete your destination wedding at Southern Streams. We can also set up transportation for you and your guests. Just let us know!

Everything at the ranch is a short walking distance. Take a stroll from the parking lot onto the winding concrete path through the botanical garden, over a small wooden bridge, and you will arrive at the reception space. The cottages are easily walk-able as well, and there is an additional mulch garden path to enjoy.
